4. Sources of Funds

The sources of funds of the foreign financial institution’s branch are formed by internal and external sources:

A. Internal sources

These comprise the capital assigned for the branch’s investment, reserve funds, and retained earnings.

B. External sources

These are funds acquired through operations with banks and other financial institutions.
