Notice
The Embassy of Lebanon in Seoul has ceased legalizing some documents
i.e. certificates of origin and commercial invoices as of April
24th, 2001, for a new customs law recently promulgated in Lebanon
does exonerate the export firms from this procedure.
However, if you want legalization of the documents by the request
of your buyer, we do legalize as before.
* Requests for legalization:
Please, read the following carefully for preparation of your
documents for legalization.
1. First, Commercial Invoice and Certificate of Origin must be
stamped by the Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
2. Then, Commercial Invoice and Certificate of Origin should
be submitted to the Embassy together as one set, along with each
copy of them.
3. Fee :
1) Commercial Invoice : Invoice total amount (USD) X 6 = \
** C.I. minmum amount of fee : 22,500\
** C.I. maximum amount of fee : 1,875,000\
2) Certificate of Origin : 15,000\
4. Remark on Invoice : the following three sentences should be
typed in the invoice.
1) We certify that this invoice is authentic and is the only
one issued by us for the goods described herein, and it represents
the real value of those goods. We also certify that the goods
are from __________ origin.
2) We undertake not to ship the goods described in this invoice
on Israeli vessel or on vessel calling at any Israeli port.
3) We certify that there is no material produced by Israel in
the manufacture or preparation of these goods.
5. The Invoice number and date should be mentioned in the Certificate
of Origin, along with LC number and date.
6. We receive documents from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and issue
them next day from 14:00 to 15:00
